CHAP. 155.— An Act For the relief of Charles Dudley Daly.March 4, 1913. [[S. 7747](/us/bill/62/s/7747).] [[Public, No. 440](/us/pl/62/440).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*,Army.Charles Dudley Daly may be appointed first lieutenant, Field Artillery. That the President of the United States, in his discretion, be, and he is hereby, authorized to appoint Charles Dudley Daly to the grade of first lieutenant of Field Artillery, United States Army, to take rank on the list of first lieutenants of Field Artillery next after the name of Charles P.No back pay, etc.
Hollingsworth, and that no back pay or allowances shall accrue as a result of the passage of this Act, and there shall be no increase in the total number of officers now authorized by law by reason of the passage of this Act. Approved, March 4, 1913.
