CHAP. 54.— AN ACT To authorize the construction of a bridge across Saint John River, Maine. February 13, 1911.[[S. 9552](/us/bill/36/s/9552).][[Public, No. 358](/us/bill/36/pl/358).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the consent of Congress is hereby given to the construction, maintenance, and operation by the State of MaineSaint John River.and the Dominion of Canada, jointly, of a bridge now in course of erection across Saint John River between Van Buren, Maine, and Saint Leonards, New Brunswick,Maine and Canada may bridge, between Van Buren and Saint Leonards.in accordance with the provisions of the ActVol. 34, p. 84.entitled “An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters,” approved March twenty-third, nineteen hundred and six, said bridge to be used only as a common highway for passengers and common vehicles, and in no case used for steam, electric, or other railways.Railways excluded.
