CHAP. 43.— AN ACT To amend section one hundred and eighty-three of the Revised Statutes. February 13, 1911. SIXTY-FIRST CONGRESS. Sess. III. CHS. 39, 42, 43. 1911. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Oaths in investigations.That section one hundred and eighty-three of the Revised Statutes of the United States be. and is hereby, amended so as to read as follows: “Sec.183.Oaths to witnesses.Any officer or clerk of any of the departments lawfully detailed to investigate frauds on, or attempts to defraud, the Government, or any irregularity or misconductExecutive officers may administer.of any officer or agent of theR.
