CHAP. 329.— An Act To amend paragraph two of section thirty-two hundred and sixty-four, Revised Statutes of the United States, as amended by section five of the Act of March first, eighteen hundred and seventy-nine, and section thirty-two hundred and eighty-five, Revised Statutes of the United States, as amended by section three of the Act of May twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and eighty. June 22, 1910.[[H. Distilled spirits. [R. S., sec. 3264, p. 630](/us/rs/s3264/p630), amended. That paragraph two of section thirty-two hundred and sixty-four, Revised Statutes of the United States, as amended by section five, Act of March first, eighteen hundred and seventy-nine, be amended so as to read as follows: " Surveys. Basis of capacity. Vol. 20, p. 335, amended. Sour mash. “In all surveys forty-five gallons of mash or beer brewed or fermented from grain shall represent not less than one bushel of grain, and seven gallons of mash or beer brewed or fermented from molasses shall represent not less than one gallon of molasses, except in distilleries operated on the sour mash principle, in which distilleries sixty gallons of beer brewed or fermented from grain shall represent not Filtration-aeration process added. less than one bushel of grain, and except that in distilleries where the filtration-aeration process is used, with the approval of the Commissioner of Internal Revenue; that is, where the mash after it leaves the mash tub is passed through a filtering machine before it is run into the fermenting tub, and only the filtered liquor passes into the fermenting tub, seventy gallons of beer brewed or fermented from grain Sweet mash. shall represent not less than one bushel of grain.

That section thirty-two hundred and eighty-five, Revised Statutes of the United States, as amended by section three, Act of May twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and eighty, be amended so as to read as follows: " Emptying tubs. Periods changed for filling.
