CHAP. 305.— An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Regular Army and Navy, and certain soldiers and sailors of wars other than the civil war, and to widows and dependent relatives of such soldiers and sailors. June 17, 1910.[[S. 7229](/us/bill/61/s/7229).][[Private, No. 100](/us/pvt/61/100).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Pensions.Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws— The name of Alice L.
Browne, widow of Edward H. Browne, late Pension increased. Alice L. Browne.major, Second Regiment United States Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty-five dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. 1808 Pensions. Frank Rogers. The name of Frank Rogers, late of Troop L, Ninth Regiment United States Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. William J. Wilson. The name of William J. Wilson, late of Company K, Seventh Regiment United States Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month.
Caroline F. Pettingell. The name of Caroline F. Pettingell, widow of John M. Pettingell, late first lieutenant Company B, Eighth Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay her a pension at the rate of seventeen dollars per month. McKean Ormsby. The name of McKean Ormsby, late second lieutenant Company B, Second Regiment Oregon Mounted Volunteers, Oregon and Washington Territory Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month.
Ellen Waters. The name of Ellen Waters, widow of David Waters, late of Company A, Seventy-first Regiment New York Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month, and two dollars per month additional on account of each of the minor children of the said David Waters until they reach the age of sixteen years. Elizabeth Waring Kieffer. The name of Elizabeth Waring Kieffer, widow of Charles F. Kieffer, late major and surgeon, United States Army, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month.
Anita C. Browne. The name of Anita C. Browne, widow of John A. Browne, late of Thirty-sixth and Fourth Companies, United States Coast Artillery, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Elisha G. Ryon. The name of Elisha G. Ryon, late of Company K, First Regiment Kentucky Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of ten dollars per month. Pensions increased. Enoch W. Hurst. The name of Enoch W. Hurst, late of Captains Townsend and Redding’s companies, Florida Volunteers, Florida Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
Albert Osteen. The name of Albert Osteen, late of Captains Whitehead and Hill’s company, First Regiment Florida Mounted Volunteers, Seminole Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Pension. William J. Sainter. The name of William J. Sainter, late of Company F, Fifteenth Regiment United States Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of ten dollars per month. Approved, June 17, 1910.
