CHAP. 3.— An Act To make Scranton, in the State of Mississippi, a subport of entry, and for other purposes. July 2, 1909.[[H. R. 10887](/us/bill/61/hr/10887).][[Public, No. 3](/us/pl/61/3).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That Scranton, in the StateCustoms.Scranton, Miss.Made subport of entry, Pearl River district.[R. S., sec. 2566, p. 507](/us/rs/s2566/p507), amended. of Mississippi, is hereby made a subport of entry in the district of Pearl River, and the necessary customs officers stationed at said port may, in the discretion of the Secretary of the Treasury, enter and clear vessels, receive duties, fees, and other moneys, and perform such other service as, in his judgment, the interest of commerce may require.
