CHAP. 276.— AN ACT Authorizing the sale of portions of the allotments of Nekquel-e-kin, or Wapato John, and Que-til-qua-soon, or Peter, Moses agreement allottees. March 4, 1911. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to sell to the Wapato Irrigation Wapato Irrigation Company.Company, on such terms and conditions as he may deem for the best interests of the allottees, so much of the landsSale of portion of allotments in Washington to, for irrigation project.in Chelan County, Washington, covered by trust patents issued to Nekquel-e-kin, or Wapato John, and Que-til-qua-soon, or Peter,1359Moses agreement allottees numbers eight and ten, under the Act of Congress approved March eighth, nineteen hundred and six, as in his judgment may be required to advantageously and economically complete and operate its irrigation project now in process of construction in Chelan County, State of Washington, including such land as may be needed for roads, bridges, ditches, flumes, dams, reservoirs, docks, landing places and other works, and shall convey the lands so sold to the said company by patent in fee.
The fundsDisposal of proceeds. derived from the sale of said lands shall be conserved for the respective allottees or invested or expended for their benefit in such manner as the Secretary of the Interior shall determine. Approved, March 4, 1911.
