CHAP. 268.— An Act Granting pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of wars other than the civil war and to certain widows and dependent relatives of such soldiers and sailors. June 7, 1910.[[S. 5237](/us/bill/61/s/5237).][[Private, No. 80](/us/pvt/61/80).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Pensions.Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the {tension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension law— The name of Derris Gregg, late of One hundred and ninth Company, Derris Gregg.United States Coast Artillery, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month.
The name of Jerome De Vriendt, late of Company D, First Regiment Jerome De Vriendt.Nebraska Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. The name of Dorcas Jones, widow of Henry Jones, late of Captain Pensions increased. Dorcas Jones.Hopping’s company, New York Militia, war of eighteen hundred and twelve, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. The name of Susan E.
Baker, former widow of William Kelly, late Pension. Susan E. Baker.of Company C, Second Regiment United States Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. The name of Franklin Wilcox, late of Captain Henry Standage’s Pension increased. Franklin Wilcox.cavalry company, Nauvoo Legion, Utah Volunteers, Utah Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. The name of Samuel Garn, late of Captain George D.
Grant’s company, Pensions. Samuel Garn.A, Utah Mounted Volunteers, Utah Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month. The name of Augustus E. Davis, late of United States ship Annapolis, Augustus E. Davis.United States Navy, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. The name of Stephen Taylor, late of Captain James W. Cumming’s Pensions increased. Stephen Taylor.company, Utah Volunteers, Utah Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
The name of Margaret J. Harvey, widow of Luther R. Harvey, late Margaret J. Harvey.first assistant engineer, ranking with lieutenant, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty-five dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. The name of Charles E. Bowling, late of Battery H, Third Charles E. Bowling.Regiment United States Artillery, Oregon and Washington Territory Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
The name of Elizabeth E. Hurst, widow of James P. Hurst, late Pensions. Elizabeth E. Hurst.second lieutenant Company M, Nineteenth Regiment Kansas Volunteer Cavalry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month and two dollars per month additional on account of the minor child of the said James P. Hurst until she reaches the age of sixteen years. The name of Mary M. Muse, Mary M. Muse.dependent mother of Thomas L. Muse, late of Company E, Forty-sixth Regiment United States Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. 1752 Pension increased.
Charles Johnson. The name of Charles Johnson, late of Company H, First Regiment United States Cavalry, war with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Approved, June 7, 1910.
