CHAP. 23.— An Act For the relief of Cooper Walker. January 19, 1911. [[H. R. 24291](/us/bill/61/hr/24291).] [[Private, No. 181](/us/pvtl/61/181).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Cooper Walker. Refund of penalty to. *Ante*, p. 1296. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Cooper Walker, of Galveston, State of Texas, the sum of one hundred and ninety dollars, the same being-the amount collected from said Cooper Walker by the collector of customs of the port of Galveston,[R.
S., sec. 4438, p. 859](/us/rs/s4438/p859). Texas, for an alleged violation of section forty-four hundred and thirty-eight of the Revised Statutes of the United States, the claim for a refund of the same having been favorably considered by the Department of Commerce and Labor.
