CHAP. 220.— AN ACT To authorize the Greeley-Arizona Irrigation Company to build a dam across the Colorado River at or near Head Gate Rock, near Parker, in Yuma County, Arizona. March 3, 1911.[[S. 10808](/us/bill/36/s/10808).][[Public, No. 464](/us/bill/36/pl/464).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Greeley-Arizona IrrigationColorado River.Company, a corporation organized under the laws of Arizona, Greeley-Arizona Irrigation Company may dam, near Parker, Ariz.is hereby authorized to construct, maintain, and operatea diversion dam*Ante,* p. 593.in and across the Colorado River at a place known as Head 1082Gate Rock, near Parker, Yuma County, in the Territory of Arizona, in accordance with the provisions of the Act Vol. 34, p. 386.approved June twenty- third, nineteen hundred and ten, entitled “ An Act to amend an Act entitled ‘ An Act to regulate the construction of dams across navigable waters,’ approved June twenty-first, nineteen hundred and six”: *Provided,**Provisos.*That the actual constructionTime of construction.of said dam shall be begun within two years and completed within four years from the date of the passage of this Act: *And provided further,* That the actual construction of said dam shall not be commenced until the plans and specifications therefor shall have been presented to and approvedApproval of plans, etc.by the Secretary of the Interior in addition to the requirements of the Act *Ante,* p. 593.approved June twenty-third, nineteen hundred and ten, entitled ‘‘An Act to amend an Act entitled ‘An Act to regulate the construction of dams across navigable waters,’ approved J une twenty-first, nineteen hundred and six,’’ and, in approving the plans and specifications, the Secretary of the Interior may impose such conditions as to him shall seem proper for the protection of the public interests of Indians and the United States.
Sec.2.That the right to alter, amend, Amendment.or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved. Approved, March 3, 1911.
