CHAP. 215.— AN ACT To authorize additional aids to navigation in the Lighthouse Establishment, and for other purposes. March 3, 1911.[[S. 10177](/us/bill/36/s/10177).][[Public, No. 459](/us/bill/36/pl/459).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of Commerce and Labor be, and he is hereby, authorized to establish and provide the following additional aids to navigationAids to navigation.in the Lighthouse Establishment, under the Lighthouse Service, Additional, authorized.in accordance with the respective limits of cost respectively set forth, which shall in no case be exceeded:
To construct a power house and foundry and complete the equipment, wiring, and so forth, of the power plant at the general Staten Island depot, N.Y.lighthouse depot, Power house, etc.Staten Island, New York, at a cost not to exceed thirty thousand dollars.*Post,* p. 1130. 1080To Brandywine Shoal, Del.rebuild and improve the present light and fog signal station, or construct a new lightNew light, etc., station.and fog signal station, at Brandywine Shoal, Delaware Bay, Delaware, at a cost not to exceed seventy-five thousand dollars.Post, p. 1480.
To rebuild and improve the Buffalo Breakwater Buffalo Breakwater, N. Y.North End Light Station, New York, at a cost not to exceed Light Station, north end.sixty thousand dollars. To complete the *Post,* p. 1431.lighting of the breakwater and piers at Superior Entry, Wis.Superior Entry, Wisconsin, at a cost not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars. To establish a Lights on piers, etc.lighthouse depot on the site formerly occupied by the Marine-Hospital Service, Treasury Department, on Chelsea Creek, Boston, Mass.Boston Harbor,Depot at Chelsea Creek.Massachusetts: *Provided,**Proviso.*That such site shall be deemed advisable by the Secretary of Commerce and Labor.
And in such event Site.authority is hereby granted for the transfer of such site from the Treasury Department to the Department of Commerce and Labor. Approved, March 3, 1911.
