CHAP. 199.— AN ACT To amend section thirty-two hundred and eighty-seven of the Revised Statutes of the United States as amended by section six of chapter one hundred and eight of an Act approved May twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and eighty, page one hundred and forty-five, volume twenty-one, United States Statutes at Large. March 2, 1911.[[H.R. 29857](/us/bill/36/hr/29857).][[Public, No. 448](/us/bill/36/pl/448).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That section Internal revenue.thirty-two hundred and eighty-seven of the Revised Statutes Distilled spirits.of the United States, as amended by section six of chapter one hundred and eight of an ActVol. 21, p. 147.approved May twenty-eighth, eighteen hundred and eighty, page one hundred and forty-five of volume twenty-one, R.
S., sec. 3287, p. 636. amended.United States Statutes at Large, be, and the same is hereby, amended so as to read as follows: *Provided further,* That alcohol or high-proof spirits withdrawnWithdrawal in metal tanks or tank cars free of tax for Government use.free of tax for the use of the United States, as authorized by section thirty-four hundred and sixty-four, R. S., sec. 8464, p. 686.Revised Statutes, may be drawn off for transfer by pipes direct from the receiving cisterns in the cistern room of any distillery to closed metal storage tanks situated in the distillery bonded warehouse and transferred from such storage tanks to tanks or tank cars for shipment, upon the execution of such bonds and under such regulations as the Secretary of the Treasury may prescribe.
