CHAP. 16.— An Act For the relief of Amos Hershey. January 14, 1911. [[H. R. 6075](/us/bill/61/hr/6075).] [[Private, No. 176](/us/pvtl/61/176).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Amos Hershey. Refund of taxes etc., to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to repay to Amos Hershey, of Gordonville, Pennsylvania, one thousand two hundred and fifty-two dollars and eighty cents, and said sum of one thousand two hundred and fifty-two dollars and eighty cents is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for moneys paid as taxes and penalties upon cigars manufactured by W.
M. Jacobs, at factory numbered thirty-seven hundred and forty-one, ninth district, State of Pennsylvania, which cigars were seized by the agents of the Government, who alleged that the stamps thereon were counterfeited by the aforesaid Jacobs. Approved, January 14, 1911.
