CHAP. 87.— An Act To provide additional station grounds and terminal facilities for the Arizona and California Railway Company in the Colorado River Indian Reservation, Arizona Territory. March 16, 1908.[[S. 2948.]](/us/bill/70/s/2948)[[Public, No. 55](/us/pl/70/55).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That subject to the approvalArizona and California Railway Company.Granted additional land in Colorado River Indian Reservation, Ariz. of the Secretary of the Interior, additional lands not exceeding forty acres in area adjacent to its approved right of way in the Colorado River Indian Reservation, in the Territory of Arizona, be, and the same are hereby, granted for additional station grounds and terminal facilities to the Arizona and California Railway Company, a corporation organized under the laws of said Territory, subject to the payment by said company of full compensation therefor in the manner provided in section three of the Act approved March second, eighteenVol. 30, p. 991. hundred and ninety-nine, entitled “An Act to provide for the acquiring of rights of way by railroad companies through Indian reservations, Indian lands, Indian allotments, and for other purposes:” *Provided*,*Proviso*.Rights reserved.
That such additional lands are granted subject to the right of the United States to cross the same and the works constructed thereon, with canals or water conduits of any kind or with roadways, or transmission lines for telephone, telegraph, or electric power, which may in the future be built by the United States across such lands; and theStructures at crossings. said company shall build and maintain at its own expense all structures that may be required at crossings, and in accepting this grant shallDamages. release the United States from all damages which may result from the construction and use of such crossings, canals, conduits, and lines.
