CHAP. 51.— An Act To establish two or more fish-cultural stations on Puget Sound. January 29, 1909.[[H. R. 15452](/us/bill/70/hr/15452).][[Public, No. 195](/us/pl/70/195).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress Assembled*, That the Secretary of CommercePuget Sound, Wash.Fish-culture stat ions to be established on.*post*, p. 981. and Labor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to establish two or more fish-cultural stations on Puget Sound, or its tributaries in the State of Washington, for the propagation of salmon and other food fishes, and to make the necessary surveys, and purchasePurchase of sites, etc. sites, construct ponds and buildings, construct, purchase, and 590 hire boats and equipments, and employ such assistance as may be required for the construction and operation of such fish-cultural stations at suitable points to be selected by the Secretary of Commerce and Labor, and the number of such stations to be determined by him.Appropriation. and for said purpose the sum of fifty thousand dollars is hereby authorized to be appropriated.
