CHAP. 51.— An Act To authorize the War Department to transfer to the State of Kansas certain land now a part of the Fort Riley Military Reservation. February 26, 1908.[[H. R. 12398](/us/bill/70/hr/12398).][[Public, No. 34](/us/pl/70/34)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of WarFort Riley Military Reservation.Certain land of, granted to Kansas. be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to grant to the State of Kansas the right, title, and interest of the United States in and to a tract of land, not to exceed one acre of ground, whereon is located the ruins of the old station building which was the first Kansas Territorial capitol at Pawnee, now included in military reservation of Fort Kansas, for the preservation of said ruins as a historical relic,Ruins of Kansas Territorial capitol at Pawnee included. the metes and bounds of said tract to be determined by the Secretary of War.
