CHAP. 49.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Nancy Motes. February 25, 1908. [[S. 1423](/us/bill/60/s/1423).] [[Private, No. 16](/us/pvtl/60/16).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of theNancy Motes.Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Nancy Motes, widow of Lewis Motes, late of Captain Thigpin’s company, Second Regiment Florida Mounted Volunteers, Florida Indian war, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving.
