CHAP. 48.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Elizabeth Sweat. February 25, 1908. [[S. 1408](/us/bill/60/s/1408).] [[Private, No. 15](/us/pvtl/60/15).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of theElizabeth Sweat.Pension increased. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Elizabeth Sweat, widow of James A, Sweat, late of Captain E.
T. Kendrick’s independent company, Florida Mounted Volunteers, Seminole Indian war, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, February 25, 1908.
