CHAP. 341.— An Act For the relief of John W. Wood. March 4, 1909. [[H. R. 15603](/us/bill/60/hr/15603).] [[Private, No. 229](/us/pvtl/60/229).] *Be it enacted by the Semite and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That John W. Wood, post-masterJohn W. Wood.Credit in accounts. at Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California, be, and is hereby, released from all liability on account of stamps to the amount of thirteen thousand dollars, stolen from his office on or about May seventeenth, nineteen hundred and seven, and the said sum of thirteen thousand dollars is hereby ordered credited to him on his accounts as such postmaster, and the payment to him of the balance due after allowing such credit is hereby authorized, and that there is hereby appropriated, out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, a sum sufficient to pay the amount, if any, found due said John W.
