CHAP. 316.— An Act For the relief of pensioners of the Metropolitan police fund. March 4, 1909.[[H. R. 23973](/us/bill/70/hr/23973).][[Public, No. 345](/us/pl/70/345).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the amount withheldDistrict of Columbia.Police fund deficiencies. from pensioners of the police fund on account of deficiencies in said fund during the period from June first, eighteen hundred and ninetyfour, to May thirty-first, eighteen hundred and ninety-six, is authorized to be paid, and the Commissioners of the District of ColumbiaPensioners’ claims to be adjusted, etc. are hereby authorized and directed to adjust and settle all claims for said deficiencies in the payment of allowances made by them to pensioners of said police fund.
In case of death of any beneficiaryDeath of beneficiary.Payment to legal representative. under the provisions of this bill the amount due such beneficiary shall be paid to the legal representative thereof. Approved, March 4, 1909.
