CHAP. 293.— An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of wars other than the civil war and to certain widows and dependent and helpless relatives of such soldiers and sailors. March 3, 1909. [[S. 9421](/us/bill/60/hr/9421).] [[Private, No. 206](/us/pvtl/60/206).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of thePensions. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws— The name of Jay B.
Sessions, late of Company I, Thirty-seventhPension increased.Jay B. Sessions. Regiment United States Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. The name of John Sexton, late of Company E, Fourth RegimentPension.John Sexton. Tennessee Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. The name of Winslow H. Reaves, late second lieutenant,Pension increased.Winslow H.
Reaves. Artillery Corps, United States Army, and pay him a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of that, he is now receiving. The name of Marianna C. Rockwell, widow of Charles H. Rockwell,Pension.Marianna C. Rockwell. late rear-admiral, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of forty dollars per month. The name of Samuel H. Askew, late first lieutenant Company A,Pension increased.Samuel H. Askew. Glasgow.The name of William G. Glasgow, late of Company C, Second Regiment Nebraska Volunteer Infantry, war with Spain, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Pensions increased.Culbert King, alias Culbert Kenney.The name of Colbert King, alias Colbert Kenney, late of Captain Standage’s company, Nauvoo Legion, Utah Volunteers, Utah Indian war, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving. Flora R. Turner.The name of Flora R.
Turner, widow of Thomas J. Turner, late medical director. United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Agnes L. Miller.The name of Agnes L. Miller, widow of James M. Miller, late rear-admiral, United States Navy, and pay her a pension at the rate of fifty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Pension.John A. Browne.The name of John A. Browne, late of Thirty-sixth and Fourth Companies, United States Coast Artillery, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month.
