CHAP. 216.— An Act To provide for the sittings of the United States circuit and district courts of the northern district of Ohio at the city of Youngstown, in said district. February 26, 1909.[[H. R. 27139](/us/bill/70/hr/27139).][[Public, No. 281.](/us/pl/70/281)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That from and after the passageOhio northern judicial district.Terms at Youngstown.R. S., secs. 572, 658, pp. 100, 122. of this Act there shall be held at the city of Youngstown, in the northern district of Ohio, a term of both the circuit and district courts of said district on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March of each year.
Sec. 2. That grand and petit jurors summoned for service at theService of jurors. terms of either of the courts aforesaid to be held at the city of Cleveland, may, if, in the opinion of the judge holding court in said division, the public convenience requires it, be directed to serve also at the term then being held, or herein authorized to be then held, at the city of Youngstown. Sec. 3. That prosecutions for crimes or offenses hereafter committedProsecution of crimes. in any part of the eastern division of said district shall be 657 cognizable at the terms aforesaid of either of the said courts having jurisdiction thereof.
Sec. 4. That any judge of the United States holding court in theTransfer of trials. eastern division of the northern district of Ohio in pursuance of existing laws may cause to be held, at the city of Youngstown, the trial of any suit now pending or hereafter brought in the court wherein he shall be so, as aforesaid, sitting. Sec. 5. That all Acts or parts of Acts inconsistent with the provisionsRepeal. of this Act are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency, but not otherwise.
