CHAP. 200.— An Act To amend an Act entitled “An Act to ratify, approve, and confirm an act duly enacted by the legislature of the Territory of Hawaii, to authorize and provide for the construction, maintenance, and operation of a telephone system on the island of Oahu, Territory of Hawaii,” approved June twentieth, nineteen hundred and six. February 25, 1909.[[H. R. 25139](/us/bill/70/hr/25139).][[Public, No. 269.](/us/pl/70/269)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the time for constructionOahu Island, Hawaii.Time extended for construction, etc., of telephone system on, by Standard Telephone Company.Vol. 34, p. 312, amended. of that portion of the telephone system of the Standard Telephone Company prescribed in the Act entitled “An Act to ratify, approve, and confirm an act duly enacted by the legislature of the Territory of Hawaii, to authorize and provide for the construction, maintenance, and operation of a telephone system on the island of Oahu.
Territory of Hawaii,” be, and is hereby, extended to three years from and after the passage of this Act, during which extended period the rights and privileges conferred upon the said Standard Telephone Company in and by said Acts shall continue in full force and effect, but subject to the forfeiture therein provided on the failure of said company to otherwiseForfeiture. comply with the provisions of time limitations therein prescribed within such extended period.
