CHAP. 184.— An Act To establish a United States court at. Jackson, in the eastern district of Kentucky, May 22, 1908.[[H. R. 14382.]](/us/bill/70/hr/14382)[[Public. No. 128.]](/us/pl/70/128) *Beit enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That section nine of “AnKentucky eastern judicial district.Vol. 31, p. 783. Act to divide Kentucky into two judicial districts,” approved February twelfth, nineteen hundred and one, as amended by the Act entitled “An Act establishing a United States court at Catlettsburg, in theVol. 32, p. 58 amended. eastern district of Kentucky,” approved March tenth, nineteen Hundred and two, be, and the same is hereby, amended so as to read:
"Sec. 9. That the regular terms of the circuit and district courtsTerms of courts, western district. of the United States for the western district of Kentucky shall be held at the following times and places, namely: At Louisville, beginning on the second Monday in March and the second Monday in October in each year; at Owensboro, beginning on the fourth Monday in November and the first Monday in May in each year; at Paducah, beginning on the third Monday in April and the third Monday in November in each year; at Bowling Green, beginning on the third Monday in May and the second Monday in December in each year.
“That the regular terms of the circuit and district courts of theTerms of courts, eastern district. United States for the eastern district of Kentucky shall be held at the following times and places, namely; At Jackson, beginning on theTerm at Jackson added. first Monday in March and the third Monday in September in each year; at Frankfort, beginning on the second Monday in March and the fourth Monday in September in each year; at Covington, beginning on the first Monday in April and the third Monday in October in each year; at Richmond, beginning on the fourth Monday in April and the second Monday in November in each year; at London, beginning on the second Monday in May and the fourth Monday in November in each year; at Catlettsburg, beginning on the fourth Monday 183 in May and the second Monday in December in each year, and at such other times and places as may hereafter be provided by law.
” Sec. 2. That suitable rooms and accommodations are to be furnishedTemporary quarters at Jackson, free. for holding the courts at Jackson, free of expense to the Government of the United States, until such time as a Federal building shall be erected there. Approved, May 22, 1908.
