CHAP. 146.— An Act For completing the pediment of the House wing of the Capitol. April 16, 1908.[[H. R. 17983](/us/bill/70/hr/17983).][[Public, No. 97.](/us/pl/70/97)] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the expenditure ofCapitol.Completion of pediment of House wing authorized.*Post*, p. 344. seventy-five thousand dollars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be, and the same is hereby, authorized for the purpose of completing the pediment of the House wing of the Capitol by placing suitable statuary thereon, said expenditure to be made under the direction of the Speaker of the House, the Joint Committee on the Library, and the Superintendent of the Capitol.
