CHAP. 125.— An Act For the relief of George H. Penrose. April 2, 1908. [[H. R. 16471](/us/bill/60/hr/16471).] [[Private, No. 40](/us/pvtl/60/40).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, George H. Penrose.Credit in accounts. That the accounting officers of the Treasury be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to credit in the accounts of Captain George H. Penrose, Quartermasters Department, United States Army, the sum of five thousand one hundred and fifty-one dollars and eighty-nine cents standing against him on the books of the Treasury, of which the sum of three thousand three hundred and thirty-one dollars and forty-eight cents pertains to the Quartermaster’s Department and the sum of one thousand eight hundred and twenty dollars and forty-one cents pertains to the Subsistence Department, the said sum having been embezzled by one McCaull through no fault of the officer.
