CHAP. 1.— An Act To authorize the transfer of books from the Treasury Department library to life-saving stations of the United States. December 11, 1908.[[S. 3495](/us/bill/70/s/3495).][[Public, No. 178](/us/pl/70/178).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of theLife-savinK stations.Books from Treasury Department library to be transferred to. Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized, in his discretion, to transfer, from time to time, from the Treasury Department library to the life-saving stations of the United States, such books as in his judgment may be no longer needed for use in said library.
