CHAP. 822.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Mary J. Smith. February 6, 1907.[[H. R. 20726](/us/bill/34/hr/20726).][[Private, No. 756](/us/pvt/34/756).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on theMary J. Smith.Pension increased. pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Mary J.
Smith, widow of Girdin Smith, late of Company H, Third Regiment Vermont Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving: *Provided*, That in the event of the death of*Provisos.*Increase to cease on death of child. Frank W. Smith, helpless and dependent child of said Girdin Smith, the additional pension herein granted shall cease and determine: *And provided further*, That in the event of the death of Mary J.
SmithPension to child on death of mother. the name of said Frank W. Smith shall be placed on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and after the date of death of said Mary J. Smith. Approved, February 6, 1907.
