CHAP. 679.— An Act To authorize the refund of part of fines imposed on the vessels Sotie R, Mathilda R, and Helen R. February 6, 1907.[[H. R. 17099](/us/bill/34/hr/17099).][[Private, No. 613](/us/pvt/34/613).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That there is hereby appropriated,Vessels “Sotie R,” “Mathilda R,” and “Helen R.”Refund of lines. for repayment to Schoonmaker and Rice, of New York, New York, owners of the barges Sotie R, Mathilda R, and Helen R, part of the amount of fines aggregating two hundred and thirty dollars paid by them to the collector of customs at New Haven, Connecticut, on or about September nineteenth, nineteen hundred and five, for violation of the laws of the United States relating to the enrollment and licensing of vessels, the amount having been deposited by the collector to the credit of the Treasurer of the United States, August thirty-first, nineteen hundred and five, prior to his receipt of instructions from the Secretary of Commerce and Labor conditionally mitigating the fines to fifty dollars, one hundred and eighty dollars.
