CHAP. 402.— An Act For the relief of George T. Pettengill, lieutenant, United States Navy. January 25, 1907.[[S. 1933](/us/bill/34/s/1933).][[Private, No. 367](/us/pvt/34/367).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the proper accounting officers George T. Pettengill.Credit in accounts.in settling and adjusting the accounts of George T. Pettengill, lieu-2307tenant, United States Navy, are hereby directed to credit said George T.
Pettengill with the sum of seven hundred and forty-eight dollars, which amount of Government funds he intrusted to George Head, a mail orderly on the United States steamship Newark, while that vessel was at Kure, Japan, August seventh, nineteen hundred, for the purpose of sending an official telegram for Admiral Kempff, United States Navy, senior squadron commander, Asiatic Station, with which money the orderly absconded.
