CHAP. 3528.— An Act To increase the efficiency of the Bureau of Insular Affairs of the War Department. June 25, 1906. [[S. 4109](/us/bill/59/s/4109).] [[Public, No. 280](/us/pl/59/280).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, War Department. Chief of Bureau of Insular Affairs to serve four years. That the Chief of the Bureau of Insular Affairs of the War Department shall hereafter be appointed by the President for the period of four years, unless sooner relieved, with the advice and consent of the Senate, and while holding that officeRank. etc. he shall have the rank, pay, and allowances of a brigadier-general.
