CHAP. 3334.— An Act Releasing the right, title, and interest of the United States to the piece or parcel of land known as the Cuartel lot to the city of Monterey, California. June 15, 1906. [[H. R. 16946](/us/bill/59/hr/16946).] [[Public, No. 233](/us/pl/59/233).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That all the right, title, and Monterey, Cal.Title to Cuartel lot released to.interest of the United States in the piece or parcel of land known as the Cuartel lot, situated in the city of Monterey, State of California, is hereby released to the said city of Monterey as the successor in interest of the old pueblo of Monterey.
That the city of Monterey, Trustee of original grant.California, is hereby designated as the trustee of the original grant made by the Mexican Government of pueblo lands to the pueblo of Monterey, as the successor of said pueblo, to hold the same in trust for the uses and purposes of the original grant, and confirmation is hereby made to said city of said land as patented November nineteenth, eighteen hundred and ninety-one. Approved, June 15, 1906.
