CHAP. 3063.— An Act To create a new division of the western judicial district of Texas, and to provide for terms of court at Del Rio, Texas, and for a clerk for said court, and for other purposes. June 9, 1906. [[S. 6288](/us/bill/34/s/6288).] [[Public, No. 212](/us/pl/34/212).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, United States courts.New division, Texas western district.Vol. 32, p. 65. That the counties of Uvalde, Zavalla, Maverick, Kinney, Valverde, Terrell, and Pecos shall constitute a division of the western judicial district of Texas.
Sec. 2. Terms at Del Rio.That terms of the circuit and district courts of the United States for the said western district of Texas shall be held twice in each year at the city of Del Rio, in Valverde County, and that, until otherwise provided by law, the judges of said courts shall fix the times at which said courts shall be held at Del Rio, of which they shall make publication and give due notice. Sec. 3. Return of process, etc.That all civil process issued against persons resident in the said counties of Uvalde, Zavalla, Maverick, Kinney, Valverde, Terrell, and Pecos, and cognizable before the United States courts, shall be made returnable to the courts, respectively, to be held at the city of Del Rio, and all prosecutions for offenses committed in any of said counties shall be tried in the appropriate United States court at the city *Proviso*.Pending eases.of Del Rio: *Provided,* That no process issued or prosecution commenced or suit instituted before the passage of this Act shall be in any way affected by the provisions hereof.
Sec. 4. Office, etc.That the clerks of the circuit and district courts of said division shall maintain an office, in charge of themselves or a deputy, at the said city of Del Rio, which shall be kept open at all times for the transaction of the business of said division. Approved, June 9, 1906.
