CHAP. 3039.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Rachel Egeness. June 6, 1906.[[H. R. 18237](/us/bill/34/hr/18237).][[Private, No. 2841](/us/pvt/34/2841).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on theRachel Egeness.Pension increased. pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Rachel Egeness, widow of Larse T.
Egeness, late of Company M, First Regiment Illinois Volunteer Light Artillery, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving: *Provided*, That in the event of the deathIncrease to cease on death of child. of Martin Egeness, helpless and dependent son of said Larse T. Egeness, the additional pension hereby granted shall cease and determine: *And provided further*, That in the event of the death of Rachel EgenessPension to child on death of mother. the name of Martin Egeness shall be placed on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and after the date of death of said Rachel Egeness.
