CHAP. 2885.— An Act To correct the military record of Morris H. Walker. March 2, 1907.[[H. R. 24022](/us/bill/34/hr/24022).][[Private, No. 2644](/us/pvt/34/2644).] PreambleWhereas Morris H. Walker, late a private of Company K, Sixty-fifth Illinois Infantry Volunteers, having served faithfully from May fifteenth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, until October twelfth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two, at which time he absented himself from his company for one month, without authority, and having voluntarily returned and served faithfully until the time of his dis-charge in May, eighteen hundred and sixty-five:
Therefore *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Morris H. Walker.Military record corrected. That the Secretary of War be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to correct the record of Morris H. Walker, late a private of Company K, Sixty-fifth Illinois Volunteers, by considering him absent with leave from October twelfth, *Proviso.*No pay, etc.eighteen hundred and sixty-two, to November twentieth, eighteen hundred and sixty-two: *Provided*, That no pay, bounty, or other emoluments shall become due or payable by virtue of the passage of this Act.
