CHAP. 27.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Melissa S. Lee. February 2, 1906. [[H. R. 1675](/us/bill/59/hr/1675).][[Private, No. 19](/us/pvt/59/19).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Melissa S. Lee. Pension increased.Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Melissa S.
Lee, widow of Gideon E. Lee, late of Company K, Sixteenth Regiment Vermont Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving: *Provided, however*, That in the event of *Provisos.* Increase to cease on death of child.the death of Lucy L. Lee, helpless and dependent child of said Gideon E. Lee, the additional pension herein granted shall cease and determine: *And provided further,* That in the event of the death of Melissa Pension to child on death of mother.S.
Lee the name of said Lucy L. Lee shall be placed on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, at the rate of twelve dollars per month, from and after the date of death of said Melissa S. Lee. Approved, February 2, 1906.
