CHAP. 2504.— An Act Authorizing the President to appoint James Carroll a surgeon, with the rank of major, in the United States Army. March 2, 1907.[[S. 5888](/us/bill/59/s/5888).][[Public, No. 163](/us/pl/59/163).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the President be and Army.James Carroll may be appointed surgeon.be is hereby, authorized to nominate, and, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, appoint James Carroll, lieutenant-surgeon, United States Army, and curator of the Army and Navy Museum, a surgeon, with the rank of major, in the Medical Corps of the Army, and that the number of officers in the Medical Corps be increased by one, with the rank of major, for this purpose.
