CHAP. 2450.— An Act Granting to the Chicago, Milwaukee and Saint Paul Railway Company, of Montana, a right of way through the Fort Keogh Military Reservation in Montana, and for other purposes. May 11, 1906. [[S. 5203](/us/bill/34/s/5203).] [[Public, No. 155](/us/pl/34/155).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Chicago, MilwaukeeFort Keogh Military Reservation, Mont.Chicago, Milwaukee and Saint Paul Railway Company granted right of way through. and Saint Paul Railway Company, of Montana, a corporation created under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Montana, be, and the same is hereby, empowered to survey, locate, construct, and maintain a railway, telegraph, and telephone line through Fort Keogh Military Reservation, Montana, upon such a line as may be determined and approved by the Secretary of War.
Sec. 2. That said corporation is authorized to take and use for allDescription of grant. purposes of a railway, telegraph, and telephone line, and for no other purpose, a right of way one hundred feet in width through said Fort Keogh Military Reservation, and a right to take and use a strip of land in said reservation two hundred feet in width, with a length of three thousand feet, in addition to said right of way, for stations, station grounds, and stock yards, with the right to use other additional ground, when cuts and tills may be necessary for the construction and maintenance of said roadbed, not exceeding one hundred feet in width on each side of said right of way, or as much thereof as may be included in said cut or fill: *Provided,* That no part of the lands herein*Provisos.*Restriction. authorized to be taken shall be used except in such manner and for such purposes as shall be necessary for the construction and convenient operation of said railway, telegraph, and telephone lines and the use and enjoyment of the rights and privileges herein granted; and whenReversion. any portion thereof shall cease to be so used such portion shall revert to the United States, from which the same shall be taken: *Provided further,* Fences and crossings.That the Chicago, Milwaukee and Saint Paul Railway Company, of Montana, will fence its right of way, and will provide and maintain necessary and suitable crossings: *And provided further,* That the said Regulations.Chicago, Milwaukee and Saint Paul Railway Company, of Montana, shall comply with such other regulations or conditions as may from time to time be prescribed by the Secretary of War.
