CHAP. 2296.— An Act For the relief of L. L. Arrington and L. S. Arrington. March 1, 1907.[[H. R. 5666](/us/bill/34/hr/5666).][[Private, No. 2134](/us/pvt/34/2134).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Treasury of the United States of America is hereby authorized andL. L. Arrington and L. S. Arrington.Payment to. directed to pay, out of tiny money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars and thirty cents to L.
L. Arrington and L. S. Arrington, for certain witness fees due by the United States Government to witnesses who were duly subpoenaed to attend, and did attend, the United States district court for the northeastern division of the southern district of Georgia and the court of the United States commissioner, George K. Calvin, in the division and district aforesaid, in the year eighteen hundred and ninety-four, and who did not, at any time, receive the fees to which they were entitled, but transferred their claim therefor under the aforesaid subpoena to L.
L. Arrington and L. S. Arrington, who in like manner have never been paid: *Provided,* That the appropriation herein made*Proviso.*Bond. shall not be available until the said L. L. Arrington and L. S. Arrington shall tile with the deputy clerk of the United States court for the division and district aforesaid a bond, with good and sufficient security, to be approved by said clerk, in double the amount of the appropriation, conditioned to protect the United States from any claim that may be made for said fees by said witnesses.
