CHAP. 2291.— An Act Providing that the State of Wyoming be permitted to relinquish to the United States certain lands heretofore selected and to select other lands from the public domain in lieu thereof. March 1, 1907. [[S. 8534](/us/bill/59/s/8534).] [[Public, No. 160](/us/pl/59/160).] *Be it enacted the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That upon the delivery to Public lands.Wyoming may relinquish certain State lands.Vol. 22, p. 226.the Secretary of the Interior by the State of Wyoming of its properly executed and duly recorded deed or deeds reconveying to the United States of America, in fee simple, certain lands heretofore selected by and certified to said State under the provisions of an Act entitled “ An Act to provide for the admission of the State of Wyoming into the Union, and for other purposes,” approved July tenth, eighteen hundred and ninety, to wit:
All of sections ten, twenty-two, twenty-four, and twenty-six, township twenty north, range eighty-four west; all of sections thirty and thirty-two, township twenty north, range eighty-three west, and all of sections six, eight, eighteen, twenty, twenty-eight, thirty, and thirty-two, township nineteen north, range eighty-three west; University lands, approved list numbered one, February eighteen, eighteen hundred and eighty-one, Cheyenne district; south half of southeast quarter section thirty, township fifty-two north, range one hundred and two west; east half of southwest quarter; southeast quarter of 1056northwest, quarter; south half of northeast quarter; northeast quarter of northeast quarter, section eight, township fifty-one north, range one hundred and three west; northwest quarter of southwest quarter; southeast quarter of southwest quarter; south half of northwest quarter; lot three of section two, township fifty-one north, range one hundred and three west; north half of south half of section twelve, township fifty-one north, range one hundred and three west; south half of southeast quarter of section twenty-five, township fifty-two north, range one hundred and three west; northwest quarter of northeast quarter, section twenty-four, township fifty-one north, range one hundred and four west ; east half of north west quarter, section eleven, township fifty-one north, range one hundred and three west;

Selection in lieu of relinquished landsThe said State shall be authorized and permit ted to select an equal number of acres from the unappropriated public lands of the United States in said State in the same manner, for the same purposes, and subject to the same conditions and limitations under which the lands so reconveyed were selected and held. Sec. 2. Relinquished lands restored to public domain. That the lands so reconveyed shall be restored to and become a part of the public domain and be subject to disposal by the Government in the same manner in which other public lands of a like character are disposed of.
