CHAP. 2277.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Bessie Sharp Pettit. February 28, 1907.[[S. 7244](/us/bill/34/s/7244).][[Private, No. 2130](/us/pvt/34/2130).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Bessie Sharp Pettit.Pension increased.Interior be, and be is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Bessie Sharp Pettit, widow of James S.
Pettit, late lieutenant-colonel Eighth Regiment United States Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of forty dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving and two dollars per month additional on account of each of the minor children of the said James S. Pettit until they reach the age of sixteen years. Approved, February 28, 1907.
