CHAP. 1997.— An Act To amend the Act entitled “An Act to regulate commutation for good conduct for United States prisoners,” approved June twenty-first, nineteen hundred and two. April 27, 1906. [[H. R. 15910](/us/bill/34/hr/15910).] [[Public, No. 132](/us/pl/34/132).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That section three of theUnited States prisoners.Commutation for good conduct.Vol. 32, p. 398. amended.
Act entitled “An Act to regulate commutation for good conduct for United States prisoners,” approved June twenty-first, nineteen hundred and two, is hereby amended so as to read as follows: " “Sec. 3. That this Act shall apply to all sentences imposed subsequentSentences affected. to July twenty-first, nineteen hundred and two, and to the sentences imposed prior thereto the commutation upon which is less than that provided in this Act.” " Approved, April 27, 1906.
