CHAP. 1634.— An Act To amend an Act to incorporate the Supreme Lodge of the Knights of Pythias. February 26, 1907. [[H. R. 17212](/us/bill/59/hr/17212).] [[Public, No. 128](/us/pl/59/128).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, District of Columbia.Supreme Lodge Knights of Pythias.Vol. 28, p. 96, amended. That section two of an Act approved June twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred and ninety-four, entitled "An Act to incorporate the Supreme Lodge of the Knights of Pythias," be, and the same is hereby, amended by striking out the words "not exceeding in value one hundred thousand dollars," so that said section two shall read as follows:
" "Sec. 2. Limitation on property removed. That the said corporation shall have the power to take and hold real and personal estate, which shall not be divided among the members of the corporation, but shall descend to their successors for the promotion of the fraternal and benevolent purposes of said corporation." " Sec. 2. Effect. That this Act shall take effect from and after its passage *Proviso*.Real estate limit.and approval: *Provided*, That said corporation shall not hold or own real estate of the aggregate value of one million dollars at any time.
