CHAP. 1613.— An Act Granting an increase of pension to Melissa D. Whitman. February 25, 1907. [[H. R. 23122](/us/bill/59/hr/23122).] [[Private, No. 1487](/us/pvtl/59/1487).] *Be it enacted try the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Melissa D. Whitman. Pension increased. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension2557 laws, the name of Melissa D.
Whitman, widow of John N. Whitman, late of Company D, Fourth Regiment Vermont Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month in lieu of that she is now receiving. Approved, February 25, 1907.
