CHAP. 1196.— An Act Authorizing the construction of a dam across the Pend d’Oreille River, in the State of Washington, by the Pend d’Oreille Development Company, for the development of water power, electrical power, and for other purposes. February 25, 1907. [[H. R. 24760](/us/bill/54/hr/24760).] [[Public, No. 119](/us/pl/59/119).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the consent of CongressPend d’ Oreille River, Wash.Pend d’Oreille Improvement Company may dam.Location. is hereby granted to, and it shall be lawful for, the Pend d’Oreille Development Company, a corporation duly incorporated under the laws of the State of Washington, its successors or assigns, to construct and maintain a dam across the Pend d’Oreille River at a point at or about where Pierwee Creek empties into the Pend d’ Oreille River, near the international boundary line in the county of Stevens, State of Washington, at such point to be selected by the said Pend d’ Oreille Development Company, its successors or assigns, at the mouth of said Pierwee Creek, or within one thousand feet above or below the same, in accordance with the provisions of an Act entitled “An Act to regulate*Ante,* p. 386. the construction of dams across navigable waters,” approved June twenty-first, nineteen hundred and six.
Sec. 2. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is herebyAmendment. expressly reserved. Approved, February 25, 1907.
