CHAP. 1135.— An Act To amend an Act entitled “An Act to amend an Act to construct a bridge across the Missouri River at a point between Kansas City and Sibley, in Jackson County, Missouri,” approved March nineteenth, nineteen hundred and four. February 20, 1907. [[S. 7211](/us/bill/59/s/7211).] [[Public, No. 97](/us/pl/59/97).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That section one of the ActMissouri River.Time extended for bridging, between Kansas City and Sibley, Mo.Vol. 33, p. 142. entitled “An Act to amend an Act. to amend an Act to construct a bridge across the Missouri River at a point between Kansas City and Sibley, in Jackson Comity, Missouri,” approved March nineteenth, nineteen hundred and four, be and the same is hereby so amended as to read as follows:
“Sec. 3. That the construction of the bridge authorized to be constructedTime of construction.Vol. 24, p. 493.Vol. 33, p. 142, amended. by the Act approved March third, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, hereinbefore named, and of which this Act is amendatory, shall begin within one year and be completed within three years from March nineteenth, nineteen hundred and seven, and unless these conditions are complied with this Act and the Acts of which it is amendatory shall be null and void: *Provided,* That such beginning of*Provisos*.Superstructure. construction within said period of one year shall relate to the super-structure912 of said bridge above the piers heretofore constructed in the Missouri River in pursuance of the Act of which this Act is amendatory: *And provided further*, That in all matters and particulars not expressly provided for in the Act of which this Act is amendatory the construction, control, and use of such bridge shall be governed by the *Ante*, p. 84.Act of Congress approved March twenty-third, nineteen hundred and six, entitled ‘An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters.’” Sec. 2.
Amendment. That the Congress reserves the right to change, alter, amend, or revise this Act and the Acts of which it is amendatory at any time. Approved, February 20, 1907.
