CHAP. 878.— An Act Directing the issue of a check in lieu of a lost check drawn by Thomas J. Hobbs, disbursing clerk, in favor of Crane and Company, of Dalton, Massachusetts. April 6, 1904.[[H. R. 3256](/us/bill/58/hr/3256).][[Private, No. 794](/us/pvtl/58/794).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Grane and Company.Duplicate check to. That the Secretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, instructed to cause to be issued a duplicate of an original check issued by Thomas J.
Hobbs, disbursing clerk of the Treasury Department, on the eighth day of July, nineteen hundred and three, numbered forty thousand and eight, upon the assistant treasurer of the United States at New York, in favor of Crane and Company, for the sum of five thousand two hundred and twenty dollars, under such regulations in regard to its issue and payment as have been prescribed by the Secretary of the Treasury for the issue of [R. S., sec. 3646, p. 717](/us/rs/s3646/p717).duplicate checks under the provisions of section thirty-six hundred and forty-six, Revised Statutes of the United States.
