CHAP. 736.— An Act To reinstate Francis S. Nash as a surgeon in the Navy. February 23, 1905. [[S. 5771](/us/bill/58/s/5771).] [[Public, No. 90](/us/pl/58/90).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* Francis S. Nash.Appointment of, surgeon in Navy. That the President of the United States be, and he is hereby, authorized to appoint, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, Francis S. Nash a surgeon in the 739Navy, to take rank next after Surgeon Henry B.
Fitts, said Nash having resigned from the Medical Corps of the Navy after fourteen years’ service. Sec. 2. That said Nash shall receive no pay or emoluments exceptNo pay, etc. from the date of his appointment, and that he shall be additional to the number of officers prescribed by law for the grade of surgeon in the Navy and to any grade to which he may hereafter be advanced: *Provided* That he pass successfully the physical examination required*Proviso*.Examinations. for entrance into the service, and the professional examinations he would have had to pass had he remained on the active Est of the Navy.
