CHAP. 562.— An Act For the relief of Noah Dillard. February 8, 1905.[[H. R. 3109](/us/bill/58/hr/3109).][[Private, No. 501](/us/pvtl/58/501).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House ofRepresentatives of the United States ofAmerica in Congress assembled*, That the Commissioners of the District of Columbia be, and they are hereby, authorized and directedNoah Dillard.Payment to. to pay to Noah Dillard the sum of three hundred and three dollars and twelve cents, or so much thereof as may be found due him, for labor performed and material furnished under contracts dated July, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, and August seventh, eighteen hundred and seventy-three, and entered into by the board of public works of the District of Columbia and Noah Dillard and Parker Moulton, contractors, which contracts were numbered, respectively, number three hundred and eighty-eight and numbered eight hundred and twenty-one, and now on file in the office of the Commissioners of the District of Columbia, together with all extensions and assignments of said contracts known and of record as aforesaid, numbered three hundred and eighty-eight 1832*Proviso.*Acceptance a discharge of obligation.and eight hundred and twenty-one: *Provided*, That the acceptance by the claimant of the amount herein appropriated shall be taken and considered as a full discharge and acquittance of the District of Columbia of all and every obligation of whatsoever character under and on account of contracts numbered three hundred and eighty-eight and eight hundredAppropriation. and twenty-one as aforesaid, and every extension of the same.
To provide for the payment herein authorized, the sum of three hundred and three dollars and twelve cents or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated, one half out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated, and the other half out of the revenues of the District of Columbia.
