CHAP. 365.— AN ACT Granting an increase of pension to Martha Higgins. February 4, 1905.[[H. R. 9939](/us/bill/58/hr/9939).][[Private, No. 323](/us/pvtl/58/323).] *Be it enacted by the Senate and House ofRepresentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on theMartha Higgins. Pension increased. pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Martha Higgins, widow of Thomas Higgins, late captain Company H, Fourteenth Regiment Michigan Volunteer Infantry, and pay her a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month in lieu 1792*Provisos.* Increase to cease on death of child.of that she is now receiving: *Provided,*That in the event of the death of Agnes M.
Higgins, helpless and dependent child of said Thomas Higgins, the additional pension herein granted shall cease and determine: Pension to child on death of mother.*And provided further,*That in the event of the death of Martha Higgins the name of said Agnes M. Higgins shall be placed on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, at the rate of twelve dollars per month from and after the date of death of said Martha Higgins.
